Cougars Finish 15th at Samford

HOOVER, Ala. – SIUE men's golf completed the Samford Intercollegiate Tuesday after noon at Hoover Country Club. The Cougars finished in a tie for 15th of 18 competing teams.

SIUE finished with a combined score of 942, to tie with UT Martin.

Host-school Samford captured the team title with a combined 882 for the 36-hole event. Samford's Casey O'Toole earned Individual Medalist honors with a five-under par 211.

Alex Knoll, Mitchell Homb and Taylor Cox each finished with a combined 235 to tie for 53^rd. Taylor White and Grant Wyina tied for 80^th, each shooting a 242 for the tournament.

The men are now off until April 2, when they travel to Arkansas State for the ASU Red Wolf Intercollegiate.
