QUINCY - Five players scored in double figures as Southern Illinois University Edwardsville downed Quincy University 76-59 in women's Great Lakes Valley Conference basketball action Wednesday night.
         SIUE improved to 9-4 overall and 4-3 in the GLVC and continued its winning ways with a fourth straight win. Quincy fell to 8-5 overall and 4-3 in the GLVC.
         Misi Clark, a senior guard, powered the offense with 19 points. Crystal Gladson recorded her first double-double of the season with a 12-point, 10-rebound effort. Sarah Cook pumped in 10 points and added four blocks. Jessica Robert added 15, including a perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line. Megan Grizzle scored 12 off the bench.
         SIUE shut down Quincy's offense. Quincy leading scorer Colleen Sexton was held to just five points. Libby Lewis led the Lady Hawks with 15 points off the bench.
         The Cougars now return home to the Vadalabene Center to play Wisconsin-Parkside on Thursday at 5:30 p.m.
