WARRENSBURG, Mo. - Ft. Hays State held Southern Illinois University Edwardsville to just 31 percent shooting in the second half and took off for a 68-49 victory Saturday night in the championship game of the Holiday Inn Express Classic.
         The Cougars, 0-2, picked up 12 points from Jessica Robert and 10 more from Liz DeShasier. SIUE was down by just seven points at halftime but struggles from the field in the second half.
         Jamie Heiman's 19 points led Ft. Hays State. Selma Barbosa and Maggie Eck added 16 and 14 points, respectively.
         SIUE returns home to the Vadalabene Center for a 5:30 p.m. game on Tuesday against McKendree College.
