Amanda Buldtman

         Amanda Buldtman scored a game-high 17 points as Southern Illinois University Edwardsville rolled to a 73-57 non-conference women's basketball victory on Saturday at the Vadalabene Center.
         Buldtman hit 5 of 11 from the field and made 7 of 8 free throws as the Cougars improved to 7-5. Missouri-Rolla fell to 2-6 for the season.
         Jessica Robert and Jill Johnson added double figures scoring with 12 and 11 points, respectively. Kristen Boss picked up six points and a team-best six rebounds in her first action of the season after sitting on the sidelines with an injury since October.
         The Cougars played without the services of leading scorer Ruth Kipping, who suffered an injury in practice.
         Missouri-Rolla as led by 14 points each from Latisha Poulard and Rebekah Judy. Leah Kessenich added 10 points and 10 rebounds for the Lady Miners.
         The Cougars' next action is Thursday when they face conference rival Indianapolis at home. Game time is set for 5:30 p.m.
