Southern Illinois University Edwardsville had it eight-game winning streak snapped Thursday falling to IUPU-FT. Wayne 68-56 in Ft. Wayne, Ind.
         The Cougars committed 24 turnovers while shooting 42.3 percent for the game. SIUE was down 33-23 at the half and was down by as many as 19 in the second half. SIUE fell to 13-5 overall and 8-4 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference.
         IPFW, 13-6 overall and 6-6 in the GLVC, were led by Jamie Holderman, who scored a game-high 32 points. IPFW's Trish Fleming added 11.
         SIUE's Misi Clark and Crystal Gladson led the Cougars with 12 points each. Sarah Larson had 10 points off the bench.
         The Cougars now travel to Rensselaer, Ind., to face Saint Joseph's in a Saturday afternoon game at 1.
