         Marty Perry poured in a career-high 32 points but it wasn't enough as Southern Illinois University Edwardsville fell to Saint Joseph's 83-81 Saturday afternoon in Rensselaer, Ind.
         SIUE fell to 4-15 overall and 1-12 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. The Cougars have now lost 10 straight games. With the win, St. Joseph's improved to 12-10 overall and 6-7 in the GLVC.
         Garrett Thomas added 14 points, including four three-pointers. Luke Humphrey had 11.
         Brent Mason led five Pumas in double figures with 18 points.
         SIUE's now returns home from its four-game road trip for a three-game homestand which begins next Thursday as the Cougars play host to Quincy University. Game time is set for 7:30 p.m.
