         HIGHLAND HTS., KY. - Northern Kentucky had all five starters in double figures as it defeated Southern Illinois University Edwardsville 90-55 Thursday night.
         It was nearly a repeat of the game played earlier this season at the Vadalabene Center where the Norse beat SIUE 90-62.
         Craig Sanders led NKU's offense with 17 points. Eleven different players scored for the Norse while its head coach Ken Shields was sidelined in the hospital with back surgery. NKU Assistant Dave Bezold coached the team.
         Ron Heflin was the high scorer for the third straight game. He had 19 points on 9 of 16 shooting. Wes Pickering added 13 points.
         SIUE's next action is Saturday in an 8 p.m. EST game at Bellarmine in Louisville, Ky.
