Sanders' 30 Stops Cougars

         Craig Sanders scored 30, including eight three-pointers, as Northern Kentucky throttled Southern Illinois University Edwardsville 90-62 in men's college basketball action Saturday afternoon.
         Sanders was unstoppable from the field, hitting 8 of 12 shots from beyond the arc for Northern Kentucky (9-4, 5-2).
         SIUE picked up 22 points off the bench from Ron Heflin. Wes Pickering added 14 points.
         NKU jumped out to a 44-29 lead at halftime and didn't look back. Bobby St-Preux poured in 17 points while teammates Carl Mitchell and Brenden Stowers added 15 and 10 points, respectively.
         SIUE's next action is Thursday at Kentucky Wesleyan. Game time is set for 7:30 p.m.
