Freshman Julianne McMillen scored 31 points to lead SIU Edwardsville to an 87-68 victory over Kentucky Wesleyan Saturday at the Vadalabene Center.
         McMillen was 12 of 13 from the field and 7 of 8 from the free-throw line in establishing a career-high point total. She also led the Cougars with nine rebounds.
         SIUE, now 4-3 overall and 2-2 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference, opened the contest with a 14-2 run and never looked back. The Cougars led by as much as 26 points in the second half.
         Sarah Schweers chipped in 13 points for the Cougars on 4-of-5 three-point shooting. Jessica Robert added ten points and had four steals.
         Kentucky Wesleyan, who dips to 2-6 and 0-3 in the GLVC, was led by Courtney Roach's 30 points.
