ST. LOUIS - The drought is over for Southern Illinois University Edwardsville at the expense of Missouri-St. Louis.
       SIUE's 10-game losing streak ended Saturday night with a 63-61 victory over Missouri-St. Louis. The loss extended the Rivermen's losing streak to 17 games.
       The Cougars improved to 8-17 overall while Missouri-St. Louis fell to 5-20.
       Ron Jones hit two free throws with eight seconds left and Justin Ward added another with two seconds remaining in the victory.
       Ron Heflin led the offense for the Cougars with 17 points and eight rebounds.
       Larry Wells scored 28 points off the bench in a losing effort for the Rivermen.
       SIUE returns home for its final two regular season games with Kentucky Wesleyan at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday and Bellarmine at 3 p.m. on Saturday.
