ROMEOVILLE, Ill. - Lewis used a 20-7 run in the first half and rolled to a 74-57 victory over Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in men's college basketball action.
         SIUE falls to 7-6 overall and 3-4 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. Lewis, ranked 25th in the nation among NCAA Division II schools, improved to 13-1 and 7-0 in the GLVC.
         Lewis used four players in double figures led by 17 points from Sidney Holmes. The Flyers also committed just six turnovers in the game.
         SIUE didn't hold on to the ball as well as Lewis, committing 22 turnovers.
         The Cougars did shoot 7 of 8 from three-point range, including 4 of 4 from Ron Jones, who scored 12 points. Tyler Hackstadt was SIUE's only other player in double figures with 11.
         SIUE now must regroup to play Wisconsin-Parkside on Saturday. Tip-off time is 3 p.m. in Kenosha, Wis.
