LOUISVILLE, KY. - Bellarmine shot an amazing 71 percent from the field and snapped Southern Illinois University Edwardsville's winning streak at four with a 89-67 triumph in Great Lakes Valley Conference men's basketball on Saturday.
         With the loss, SIUE falls to 13-10 overall and 9-8 in the GLVC. Bellarmine improved its chances of making the field for the eight-team GLVC Tournament next month by improving its record to 9-15 and 6-11 in the GLVC.
         Zach Miller led all scorers with 20 points on 8 of 9 shooting. Caleb Halcomb added 16 points.
         Calvin Sykes led SIUE in scoring for the third straight game with a 19-point effort. Ron Jones added 12 with four three-pointers.
         SIUE now has its final four games of the regular season at home beginning with Southern Indiana on Thursday. Tip-off time is set for 7:30 p.m.
