EDWARDSVILLE, ILL. - Southern Illinois University Edwardsville made 12 three-pointers as the Cougars rolled over St. Joseph's College 85-61 on Thursday night in Great Lakes Valley Conference action at the Vadalabene Center.
         The Cougars shot 52.2 percent (12-23) from three point land and a season-high 53.8 percent from the field. The 12 three-pointers are the most SIUE has made since knocking down 16 in its season opening win over Robert Morris on Nov. 16
         Julianne McMillen led all scorers with 20 points. McMillen was 6 of 8 from the field and 7 of 8 from the free throw line as the Cougars improve to 7-8 overall, and 2-4 in the GLVC. The Pumas fall to 2-11 overall, and 1-5 in GLVC action.
         SIUE jumped out to a 46-35 lead at halftime thanks to five three-pointers from Whitney Sykes. Sykes finished the game with 18 points going 6 of 10 from behind the three point line to go along with five assists.
         Amber Wisdom chipped in 13 points, seven assists, and six rebounds for the Cougars. Tiffany Sproat added a career-high five points and three assists, and Alisa Carrillo scored six points and grabbed six boards.
         Courntey Rosebaum led the way for the Pumas with 11 points, and Rachel Theodore had eight.
         The Cougars continue their three-game homestand as UW-Parkside visits the Vadalabene Center on Saturday afternoon at 1.
