EDWARDSVILLE, ILL. -- Alisa Carrillo netted a career-high 20 points as the Southern Illinois University Edwardsville women's basketball team cruised to a 95-51 win over Robert Morris on Tuesday night.
         Carrillo went 9 for 11 in the contest as the Cougars won their home opener for the eighth straight year.
         The 95 points is the most the Cougars have scored in a contest since notching 99 points in a win over Kentucky Wesleyan on Jan. 2, 1998.
         SIUE goes to 1-0 on the year as the Lady Eagles drop to 3-3 this season.
         The Cougars ran out to a 46-24 lead at halftime shooting 51 percent in the first half. They continued with 49 points in the second half to shoot 52.7 percent (39-74) for the game.
         Freshman Allison Fogle scored 19 points on 7-of-14 shooting in her first collegiate game.
         Whitney Sykes had a career-high seven assists to go along with 12 points. Krystal Rosengren had 10 points. Tanya Guell and Becky Tenholder each had eight. Tenholder led the Cougars with nine rebounds.
         The Cougars handed out 36 assists in the contest with four players recording five or more.
         SIUE outrebounded the Lady Eagles 44-32 in the game.
