         KANSAS CITY, MO. -- Rockhurst raced back from a nine-point decifit with eight minutes to play to upend Southern Illinois University Edwardsville 66-63 Thursday night in women's Great Lakes Valley Conference basketball.
         After starting the season with five non-conference wins, SIUE now finds itself winless after two games in the GLVC. The Cougars next face No. 2-ranked Drury in Springfield, Mo., on Saturday at 2 p.m.
         SIUE, 5-2 overall and 0-2 in the GLVC, went to the locker room leading 32-25 at halftime.
         Rockhurst took advantage of 13 SIUE second-half turnovers. SIUE led 56-47 on a three-point play by Deidra Dace with 8:12 to play.
         The Hawks raced back eventually taking the lead for good on a three-pointer by Jessica Rethman with 4:38 to play. Rockhurst led 63-61 at that point.
         SIUE was led in scoring by sophomore Whitney Sykes, who scored 16 points. Dace added 14.
         Rethman led Rockhurst scoring with 18 points. Rockhurst is now 3-4 overall and 1-2 in the GLVC.
