EDWARDSVILLE, ILL. -- Southern Illinois University Edwardsville cruised to its third straight victory Wednesday with an 81-49 triumph over Robert Morris.
         SIUE, 3-0, netted 62 percent of its shots in the first half and ran away from the Eagles, which suffered its first loss of the season at 5-1.
         Amber Shelton lifted SIUE with 23 points on 10-of-12 shooting. Whitney Sykes was the only other player in double figures for SIUE with 10 points.
         SIUE spread out its scoring while dominating on the boards 46-32. Becky Tenholder led SIUE with 10 rebounds.
         Beth Whitt led the Eagles with 18 points and 12 rebounds.
         SIUE's next action opens the Great Lakes Valley Conference season as the Cougars travel to Louisville, Ky., to take on Bellarmine on Nov. 30.
