IOWA CITY, Iowa - Freshman David Devine picked up Southern Illinois University Edwardsville's only pin Friday at the Iowa Duals.

Devine pinned Tyler Thoeny in the dual against Iowa Lakes Community College. Steve Ross also won a 7-2 decision over Iowa Lakes' Austin Lindsay.

SIUE lost all four matches in Friday meet. Iowa defeated SIUE 51-0. The Cougars also dropped dual matches to Iowa Lakes Community College 33-9, Coe 44-3, and Cornell 31-9.

Brendan Murphy collected two victories with a 6-2 decision against CoeÂÂ fs Bryan Telgenhoff and an 8-6 decision over Tigue Snider of Cornell College at 133 pounds.

Freshman Robert Cooney and Chase Grafton also collected victories in the Cornell College dual for the Cougars. Cooney won a 5-3 decision over Andrew Anderson in the 197-pound weight class. Grafton won a 10-6 decision in the 285-pound weight class over Wyatt Bauman, 10-6.
