EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. - Three pins highlighted the evening as Southern Illinois University Edwardsville opened the wrestling season with the Black and Red Intrasquad Scrimmage at the Vadalabene Center.

The Red squad led the way with David Devine getting a pin over Dalton Fleck at 285 pounds in 35 seconds. Also earning a pin for Red was Terrence Connors over Sawyer Smith at 184 pounds in 3:42. Kyle Lowman collected a pin for the black team, defeating Jon Young in 3:09 at 149 pounds.

SIUE will start the regular season at the UCM Open in Warrensburg, Mo., on Nov. 14. The tournament will begin at 9 a.m. at the UCM Multipurpose Building.
