TULSA, Okla. - Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and Oral Roberts settled for a 1-1 tie Saturday in men's college soccer action.

SIUE's Chris Anzalone picked up the lone goal for the Cougars, his second of the season. Randy Roy earned his second assist of the season with the key pass to Anzalone at 31:05.

Scott Meyer turned in another strong effort in goal for SIUE. He matched Oral Roberts goalkeeper Irving Peralta with four saves.

Oral Roberts tied up the game at 40:03 when Jarrett Hamilton provided the goal on an assist from Nikola Bogdanovic. Oral Roberts would outshoot the Cougars 16-12 overall.

Jose Tamayo led SIUE with three shots, including two on-goal.

SIUE was pressed in the overtime period. Oral Roberts picked up five corner kicks but were only able to manage two shots from them against SIUE's stingy defense.

The Cougars now look forward to senior day next Saturday when they play host to Central Arkansas. Game time at Korte Stadium is 2 p.m.
