EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. - Austin Peay defeated Southern Illinois University Edwardsville women's tennis 5-2 Saturday at the SIUE Tennis Courts.

Senior Laura Horning defeated Demi Georgakopoulos 6-3, 6-5 at No. 5 singles. Junior Ali Wulfers defeated Yuki Nakamura 6-1, 6-0 at No. 6 singles.

Austin Peay collected four singles victories and took two of three matches in doubles. SIUE defeated Austin Peay at No. 3 doubles with Horning and Kelsey Laird downing Michelle Liew and Georgakopoulos 9-7.

The Cougars are back in action at home tomorrow against UT Martin beginning at 1 p.m.
