EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. - Southern Illinois University Edwardsville ended its 2009-2010 campaign on a down note Sunday with a 5-2 loss to Chicago State.

Amanda Niebur and Ali Wulfers turned in SIUE's only wins for the Cougars. Niebur defeated Chicago State's Peggy Moore 7-6 (8-6), 5-7, 10-6. Wulfers won by default as Chicago State arrived with five players.

Chicago State, 9-4, swept the top four singles matches and both of the doubles matched it contested.

SIUE finished the season with a 3-17 mark.
