CHAMPAIGN, Ill. - Illinois wrestling picked up three pins and three technical falls Friday in a 50-0 triumph over Southern Illinois University Edwardsville wrestling at Huff Hall.
SIUE, 2-12, struggled against the 15th-ranked Illini, which improved to 3-2-1 overall.
Kyle Lowman's 10-2 loss to Illinois' Jackson Morse at 157 pounds was SIUE's closest effort.
Illinois collected pins at 125, 165 and 184 as well as a forfeit at heavyweight.
SIUE next heads to Ypsilanti, Mich., Jan. 29 for a pair of dual matches against Tiffin and Eastern Michigan.
