EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. – For the second conference match in a row, SIUE women's tennis completed a 7-0 victory against Eastern Illinois, moving their Ohio Valley Conference record to 4-1.

The Panthers fall to 3-2 in OVC play.

Lexi Aranda and Monique Krutak remain undefeated in the OVC at 5-0. Krutak recorded her seventh straight singles victory against the Panthers.

"We came out and fought and pressured them from the beginning," said Head Coach Amanda Pratzel. "We didn't let up in any of our matches. Now we have a short turnaround to prepare for our match on Friday."

The other four Cougars to tally singles victories were Mia Frogner (4-1), Kali Donner (3-1), Sierra Halverson (3-1), and Haley Ilcewicz (2-1).

The Cougars return to action Friday at 3 p.m. in Cape Girardeau against Southeast Missouri.
