MARTIN, Tenn. – SIUE women's tennis recorded their third straight Ohio Valley Conference win in a 6-1 victory over UT Martin Sunday.

The Cougars improve to 5-1 in OVC play with the win, while the Skyhawks fall to 2-2.

After losing the doubles point, the Cougars came back to win all six singles matches, with five of the six matches being decided in two sets.

Lexi Aranda and Monique Krutak both remain undefeated in singles conference play, improving their records to 6-0. 

"UT Martin came out strong in doubles, but we bounced back in singles and didn't let up," said Head Coach Amanda Pratzel. "We have a quick recovery to get ready for tomorrow's match against Southeast Missouri."

The Cougars play at Southeast Missouri Monday after the match was rescheduled due to temperature. The match begins at 2 p.m.
