Box Score NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Seniors Haley Ilcewicz and Kali Donner won their final singles matches as the Cougars suffered a 4-3 loss to Eastern Illinois in the Ohio Valley Conference tournament.
The Cougars complete their season with an overall record of 11-11 and an OVC record of 7-3.
Ilcewicz, Donner, and first team All-OVC selection Lexi Aranda earned points for the Cougars with singles wins, all in straight sets.
Aranda ends her season with an overall singles record of 23-6. Donner improved to 16-13, while Ilcewicz tallied her 10th singles win of the season.
"We didn't go out without putting up a fight," said Head Coach Amanda Pratzel. "Eastern Illinois came out strong and didn't back down."
