COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - SIUE wrestling completed the regular season Sunday with two wrestlers competing at the US Western National Open, hosted by the Air Force Academy.
Freddie Rodriguez placed third at 125 pounds, and Connor McMahon finished second at 174 pounds.
Rodriguez defeated Josh Kramer 5-3 in the third-place match.
McMahon won two of three matches in a round robin format at 174. His 5-4 win over Air Force's Josh Mossing clinched second.
