EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. - SIUE women's tennis earned its first Ohio Valley Conference win of the season over Southeast Missouri, blanking the Redhawks 6-0.

The Cougars improve to 9-4 overall and 1-1 in OVC play.

Mia Frogner and Madeline Hill earned a win at No. 1 doubles along with Lexi Aranda and Morgan Steffes at No. 2 doubles. 

Earning wins in singles matches were Aranda at No. 1, Frogner at No. 2, Hill at No. 3, Monique Krutak at No. 4, and Ann-Christine Link at No. 5. 

Hill earned her 10th straight singles victory and is 11-2 on the year. 

"I'm happy with how our team rebounded today against Southeast Missouri," said SIUE Head Coach Nick Mueller. "We got knocked down yesterday against UT Martin, but we stood tall today. There is no doubt our team will be ready for next weekend's matches."

SIUE resumes play Friday, Mar. 25 at Austin Peay.
