JACKSON, Tenn. – Anthony Ruthey finished just outside the top 20 to lead SIUE golf at UT Martin's Grover Page Classic, completed Tuesday at Jackson Country Club.

Ruthey finished tied for 21^st with rounds of 73-71-74 (218). A trio of SIUE golfers, Brooks Jungbluth, Luke Ludwig and Presley Mackelburg each finished at 223 to tie for 42^nd. Mackelburg was playing as the Cougars' individual. Tanner Collins tied for 52md at 225. TJ Baker tied for 73^rd at 231.

SIU Carbondale's Matthis Besard finished at 15-under par to claim individual medalist honors. Tennessee Tech's Nick Sutton (-8) finished second.

The Cougars tied for ninth, with Bellarmine, at 884. Host UT Martin won the tournament at 852. The Skyhawks were followed by Tennessee Tech (857) and New Orleans (865).

SIUE wraps up its fall schedule Oct 24-26 at the Old Dominion Classic.
