vs. Niagara, Fri. Nov. 19
at Youngstown State, Sat. Nov. 20
vs. St. Thomas, Sun. Nov. 21
Beeghly Center (6,300), Youngstown, Ohio

TOURNEY TIME
The Cougars will open the YSU/J. Arnold Management Company Tournament with first-time opponent Niagara. SIUE has faced Youngstown State and St. Thomas once each. Both meetings came before SIUE made the move to NCAA Division I in 2008.

LAST TIME
SIUE picked up its first win of the year Monday nearly leading wire to wire in a 75-37 win over Knox College at First Community Arena. After the Prairie Fire scored the first two points of the game, Ray'Sean Taylor scored back-to-back buckets for the Cougars, and they never trailed again. SIUE used a 14-2 run to end the first half to take a 39-21 advantage into the break.
The Cougars continued to add on in the second half, limiting Knox to just 16 points after halftime.

SHARP SHOOTERS
SIUE hit 47 percent of its shots in the opener at Marquette and 46 percent in Monday's game against Knox. Last year, the Cougars shot a season-best 58 percent against Tennessee Tech and shot at least 50 percent in a game eight different times.

FIVE ALIVE
SIUE had five players in double figures at Marquette. Ray'Sean Taylor (16), Shaun Doss, Jr. (13), Carlos Curtis (11), Shamar Wright (11) and DeeJuan Pruitt (10) each finished in double figures.

TAYLOR FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
Taylor was the OVC Freshman of the Week Nov. 15 after averaging 20.0 points per game in his first two games. He scored a career-best 24 points at Chicago State. He is now fift in the league in scoring at 16.7 points per game. Taylor is returning after missing last season with a torn right ACL. Taylor is the all-time leading scorer at Collinsville High School with more than 2,100 points. He posted a 53-point game against Trinity (St. Louis) during his senior year.

WILLIAMS RETURNS
Cam Williams played 12 minutes Monday against Knox. It was his first game action since he sustained a torn (ACL) Jan. 30 at UT Martin. The Cougars' most experienced player, Williams has appeared in 72 games, while making 48 starts in his career.
