Final Results
EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. – SIUE golf fired a 287 Saturday, taking honors in a dual match with Bradley at Sunset Hills Country Club.
The Cougars were one-under par for the 18-hole event. Bradley finished at 304 (+16) for the event.
"I was proud of how the guys came out and played today," SIUE Head Coach Derrick Brown said. "On a day that started out calm and warm, it got cold and windy and we handled it well."
Zak Butt and Tanner Collins, who was playing as an individual, tied for individual honors. Each shot a 70 (-2). Bradley's Alex Ciaramitaro finished at one-under par and was third.
For the Cougars, T.J. Baker also tied for third. He finished at one-under. Brooks Jungbluth finished even at 72 and tied for fifth.
"Anytime you have four guys at par or better, you're usually happy as a coach," Brown continued. "I hope we can take this confidence into our next match next weekend."
Parker McEachern and Presley Mackelburg both finished at two-over par to tie for seventh. Connor Neighbors was eight-over and tied at 12th.
