CLARKSVILLE, Tenn.  -  SIUE tennis dropped their final road match of the 2021 regular season, falling 5-2 in Clarksville on Sunday afternoon.

The Cougars dropped the doubles point early, falling on the No. 1 and 3 courts while leaving the second court unfinished. The Red & White pulled two singles victories on the day, with Fabiola Perez earning a victory on the No. 4 singles court and Edwardsville native Callaghan Adams earning a straight-set win on the No. 6 singles court. Freshman Jordan Schifano took the opening set in convincing fashion, before dropping the final two sets in the No. 3 position, while Nicole Gomez led early on the No. 5 court before being forced to retire. 

The Cougars will close out the 2021 regular season in Edwardsville, hosting Southeast Missouri on Friday before finishing the regular season schedule with a Saturday morning fixture against UT Martin.
