THE COUGARS: Continues Missouri Valley Conference play with Bradley Saturday. It is the third time SIUE has played host to Bradley on Homecoming. 

BACK IN THE VALLEY: After playing four seasons in the Mid-American Conference, SIUE officially returns to the Missouri Valley Conference, where the Cougars played as affiliate members from 2010-2016. SIUE won a pair of tournament championships, one regular season championship and amassed a record of 25-13-7 in the MVC.

HOMECOMING: Since returning to regular Division I play in 2008, the Cougars are 12-0 in the annual Homecoming game. SIUE did not host a Homecoming game in 2020.

LAST TIME: Missouri State's Jack Denton scored the only goal of the game on a free kick in the 14th minute to lift the Bears to thier first-ever win in Edwardsville.  

SERIES STUFF: SIUE is facing Bradley for the 19th time overall. The Cougars met Bradley eight times during their previous time in the Missouri Valley. The Cougars are unbeaten in the last five meetings between the two teams. 

PLAYER OF THE WEEK: SIUE freshman forward Alex Segura picked up MVC Offensive Player of the Week honors Sept. 6. Segura netted the first two goals of his college career, including the overtime game-winner against Air Force.

LEADERS: At 1.14 goals per game, SIUE is the now the fourth-highest scoring team in the Valley. The Cougars are third in total shots (67) and have generated the second most corners (27). Max Broughton's three goals rank third, while Kelby Phillips' three assists are second. Phillips ranks 57th in the NCAA in total assists. Broughton is 91st in total goals.
