RICHMOND, Ky. –
Anthony Ruthey finished 14th and SIUE golf tied for ninth at the Eastern Kentucky Intercollegiate, completed Saturday at the University Club at Arlington.
Ruthey finished tied for 13
th at 211 (+1). The 211 is tied for the 16
th lowest round in school history.
TJ Baker and
Connor Neighbors also turned in two of the lowest rounds in school history.
Baker shot a 214 to tie for 27th. Neighbors, playing as an individual, shot a 215 to tie for 31
st.
Presley Mackelburg tied for 49
th at 218.
Brooks Jungbluth finished at 219 to tie for 59
th-place.
Tanner Collins tied for 78
th with a 223.
Western Carolina's Jake Peacock finished at 10-under par to edge Dayton's Kyle Schmidt (-8) for individual medalist honors.
The Cougars next travel to Colorado Springs, Colorado for the Gene Miranda Invitational, hosted by Air Force Sept. 10-12.
