LAST TIME
Tennessee Tech drained 14 three-point baskets Thursday on its way to a 94-76 win over SIUE in Ohio Valley Conference play. The loss overshadowed strong individual efforts from several Cougars, including redshirt freshman DeeJuan Pruitt who collected his second double-double of the year with career-bests in points (17) and rebounds (16). His 16 rebounds tied SIUE's Division I single-game record set by Nikola Bundalo vs. Murray State in 2011. Shaun Doss, Jr. scored 18 points. Ray'Sean Taylor scored 17.

CONFERENCE CALL
SIUE is playing its 11th Ohio Valley Conference season. The Cougars are 54-119 in OVC play. Head Coach Brian Barone has a 13-28 record in OVC play. 

ROAD WARRIORS
SIUE plays four of its next five games on the road. The Cougars played eight of their first nine games away from home. SIUE has three road wins this season. Last season, SIUE set a new mark for road wins in a season in the Division I era with six.

FOUR SCORE
Taylor has won the OVC Freshman of the Week award four times this season, incuding last week. He is the first SIUE player to win more than three weekly OVC awards in the same season. 

CLAMPING DOWN
SIUE is one of the OVC's best defensive teams, allowing 68.1 points per game, which is third. Cougars' opponents are shooting just .409 overall, which is second in the OVC, and .317 from three-point range, which leads the OVC.

SHARP SHOOTERS
SIUE shot 46 percent against Belmont. It marked the 10th time this year that the Cougars have hit at least 45 percent of its shots in a game. SIUE connected on a season-high 52 percent of its shots Dec. 8 vs. Purdue Fort Wayne.

CRASHING THE BOARDS
The Cougars are second in the OVC at 38.8 rebounds per game, which is 57th in the NCAA. SIUE is third in total rebounds at 660. The Cougars lead the OVC in offensive rebounds at 12.82 a game, which is 24th in the NCAA.
