• SIUE broke a seven-game losing streak the last time out against Southeast Missouri (Jan. 15) in a 73-66 win at First Community Arena.

Gabby Nikitinaite recorded her first two double-doubles of the season this week. On Monday, she scored 23 points and grabbed 11 rebounds against Murray State. On Thursday, Nikitinaite finished with 15 points and 12 rebounds.

Mikayla Kinnard leads the team in assists (58) and raised her scoring average to 11.1 after scoring 15 points against Tennessee State Thursday.
• SIUE posted its second double-digit, come-from-behind win Thursday, erasing a 24-point deficit to defeat Tennessee State 79-72. In SIUE's previous game against SEMO, the Cougars were down by as many as 12 overall and 10 at halftime in the 73-66 win at First Community Arena.
• SIUE is second in the OVC in free throws made (274) and first in attempted (383). That is 17th and 21st nationally, respectively.
• The Cougars also are 33rd nationally in turnovers forced per game (20.16).
• SIUE leads the OVC in assists per game (15.9), which is 34th nationally.

Allie Troeckler and
Mikia Keith are among the top 20 all-time at SIUE in steals. Troeckler is 12th with 178. Keith is 17th with 151.
• Nikitinaite is second in the OVC in free throw percentage (87.0 percent) and 35th nationally.
• Troeckler is the only player to appear in the starting lineup in all 19 games this season. Keith and
Mikala Hall are the only other players to appear in all 19 games.
• SIUE has had an OVC Player, Newcomer and a Freshman of the Week all in the same season for the first time since the 2014-15 season.
• Nikitinaite and Troeckler each recently hit the 1,000-point mark in their collegiate careers.
