STILLWATER, Okla. – SIUE women's tennis concluded play at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Regional Saturday as every Cougar entrant recorded a victory at the multi-day event.

"It was great to see our team compete against some of the best in the region and country," said SIUE Head Coach Adam Albertsen. "We had some nice results mixed in, but most importantly this event shows us some areas we can get better at. Improving and raising our level can lead to a very exciting spring season for this team."

All six Cougars who played left with at least one victory at the highly-competitive regional event.

Amelia Gorman and Jordan Schifano each picked up two victories in singles play.
 
Margaux Guibal Britt and Schifano qualified for the Main Draw Singles and finished with straight set wins over North Dakota. Guibal Britt and Schifano defeated Saint Louis in doubles play to move onto the Round of 32 before falling to #9 seeded Iowa State 8-4. 

This event completes the fall season. SIUE returns to the home courts on Jan. 21 where it will play host to Illinois Springfield.
