• Mia Haynes became the 19th pitcher in school history to record a no-hitter with an 8-0, five-inning win over Louisiana Tech at the Best on the Bayou Classic. It also is the 14th no-hitter of the Division I era for SIUE.
• Grace Lueke was SIUE's top hitter last weekend with a .400 average.
• A 9-4 loss to Louisiana Monroe halted an 11-game winning streak that dated back to last season.
• Lueke and Lexi King are tied for the team lead in home runs with two.
• Sydney Baalman was named a "Player to Watch" by the OVC during the preseason after finishing her freshman season with a 10-9 record and a 2.86 earned run average.
