LAST TIME
Austin Peay scored the final eight points of the second overtime period to score a come-from-behind 68-63 win over SIUE Monday. Overtime wasn't the first time the Governors were forced to comeback. The Cougars led for 35 minutes, and never trailed in the game until Elijah Hutchins-Everett put Austin Peay on top 50-48 with 1:30 to play in regulation.
Courtney Carter scored on a driving layup with 1:13 left to tie the score at 50, which is where it stayed until overtime.

LAST MEETING
The Cougars narrowly dropped their meeting against the Racers on January 8, as the league leaders took down the Red & White by a five-point margin - tied for the Racers' thinnest margin of victory in any game this season.Â
Ray'Sean Taylor lit up the scoreboard in the previous matchup, scoring a game-high 24 points and shooting 9-of-17 from the field.

TAYLOR STAYS HOT
Ray'Sean Taylor has nine games of 20 or more points after scoring 25 Saturday at SEMO. That followed a career-best 26 against Tennessee State. He leads the OVC in scoring at 17.6 points per game, which is second in the NCAA among first-year players behind Duke's Paolo Banchero (17.8 ppg). Taylor missed last season with a torn right ACL. He is the all-time leading scorer at Collinsville High with more than 2,100 points. He posted a 53-point game against Trinity (St. Louis) during his senior year.
GIMME FIVE
Taylor has won the OVC Freshman of the Week award five times this season. He is the first SIUE player to win more than three OVC awards in the same season.
