• SIUE's game scheduled for Thursday against Eastern Illinois has been rescheduled for 5:30 p.m. Monday as part of a doubleheader at First Community Arena.
• Gabby Nikitinaite was named the Ohio Valley Conference Newcomer of the Week Tuesday after averaging 15.3 points and 10.0 rebounds in three games last week. It is Nikitinaite's third Newcomer of the Week honor.
• Ajulu Thatha scored a team-high 15 points Monday at Eastern Illinois. All 15 of her points were scored in the fourth period.
• The Cougars are ranked No. 13 nationally in free throws attempts (435) and No. 14 in makes (307).
• The next three-pointer made by the Cougars will be No. 100 for the season.
• SIUE used 14 players in Monday's game at Eastern Illinois. It is the most since the Cougars used 15 against Kansas (Nov. 10) in the season opener.
• SIUE recorded its third double-digit, come-from-behind victory last Saturday, besting Southeast Missouri 69-61 at the Show Me Center. All three came in the last two weeks beginning with SEMO (Jan. 15), Tennessee State (Jan. 27) and SEMO again (Jan. 29).
• Mikayla Kinnard scored a season-high 21 points in the win over Southeast Missouri. She scored 11 of her points in the fourth period.
• SIUE is 28th nationally in turnovers forced per game (20.33) and 30th in steals (30).
• Allie Troeckler and Mikia Keith are among the top 20 all-time at SIUE in steals. Troeckler is ninth with 180. Keith is 17th with 154.
• Troeckler is the only player to appear in the starting lineup in all 21 games this season. Keith and Mikala Hall are the only other players to appear in all 20 games.
• SIUE has had an OVC Player, Newcomer and a Freshman of the Week all in the same season for the first time since the 2014-15 season.
