SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – SIUE golf completed play at the rain-shortened Twin Oaks Intercollegiate, hosted by Missouri State, completed Tuesday.
The Cougars shot a 597 and finished 15
th of 16 teams at the event. Oral Roberts won the event with a 553. Valparaiso was second at 560 and Wichita State finished third at 563.
Oral Roberts' Dustin Hasley finished seven-under at 135 to claim individual medalist honors.
TJ Baker led the Cougars with a 146 (+4) to tie for 33
rd place.
Luke Ludwig was two strokes behind Baker to tie for 47
th.
Anthony Ruthey tied for 55
th with a 150.
Connor Neighbors turned in a 153 to tie for 69
th and Brook Jungbluth finished tied for 72
nd at 154. SIUE's individual entry,
Tanner Collins, tied for 82
nd with a 158.
SIUE will travel to Tunica, Mississippi for the Carpenter/Chaney Classic, which is a match play event, April 4-5.
