• SIUE holds a 13-6 edge in the series between the two schools and has won the last three contests.
• Grace Lueke was named the Ohio Valley Conference co-Player of the Week. She boasted a .667 batting average and a 2.000 slugging percentage behind four home runs in games against Northern Illinois and SIU Carbondale.
• Among Grace Lueke's four home runs Monday at the Saluki Invitational was a walk-off solo home run against Northern Illinois. It was SIUE's first walk-off home run since Reagan Curtis in 2018.
• SIUE is coming off the start of its Ohio Valley Conference regular season. Murray State defeated the Cougars in all three games in the series. OVC play continues this weekend at Belmont.
• MIa Haynes is third in the OVC in strikeouts with 67. She also leads the Cougars in wins with four.
• Lexi King is ranked seventh in the OVC in doubles per game (0.29).
• As a team, the Cougars are fourth in the OVC in home runs per game (0.79). Bailley Concatto recorded her second home run of the season Sunday with a sixth-inning solo shot against Murray State.
• Freshman Lauren Yslava leads the Cougars in batting average (.348).
• Through 24 games, King is the lone SIUE player to have appear in every game.
