• The Cougars completed the FAU Tournament this past weekend with a 3-2 record. It included two wins over Purdue, of the Big Ten, and Illinois State, of the Missouri Valley.
• Lauren Yslava was the team's top hitter at the FAU Tournament with 10 hits.
• Yslava also is the team's overall leading hitter with a .386 batting average.
• Lexi King, who earned her first win of the season in the circle against Illinois State, leads the team in hits (19) and on-base percentage (.421).
• Mia Haynes lead the Cougar pitching staff with three wins. Her 51 strikeouts is ranked 90th nationally among NCAA Division I schools.
• Haynes became the 19th pitcher in school history to record a no-hitter with an 8-0, five-inning win over Louisiana Tech at the Best on the Bayou Classic. It also is the 14th no-hitter of the Division I era for SIUE.
• King and Grace Lueke are the lone two players to have started all 15 games this season. Grace Bretveld is the only other player to have appeared in all 15 games.
• The Saluki Invitational announced an updated schedule. The four games SIUE plays against Northern Illinois and SIU Carbondale will now take place on Sunday and Monday in Carbondale, Illinois.
