• The Cougars take on a Tennessee State team that has lost its last three contests. The Tigers took two of three games last weekend against Eastern Illinois.
• SIUE holds a 17-5 advantage all-time over Tennessee State. The last matchup was March 12, 2021, when the Cougars edged the Tigers 4-3.

Lexi King earned her third victory in the circle Tuesday in the second game of the doubleheader sweep against Eastern Illinois. She leads the Cougars with a 4.40 earned run average.
• King, who is the only player to have started all 29 games this season also leads the Cougars in several offensive categories. That includes at bats (98), hits (35), doubles (7), sacrifice flies (3) and stolen bases (6).
• Freshman Lauren Yslava is second in batting at .349. She is second on the team with 30 hits.

Mia Haynes is tops on the Cougars' pitching staff with four wins and 73 strikeouts.

Grace Bretveld is 21st nationally and second in the Ohio Valley Conference in times hit by a pitch per game (0.33).
