• The winner of the SIUE-Austin Peay game moves on to play Southeast Missouri at 5:30 p.m.
• This is SIUE's first Ohio Valley Conference softball Tournament since the 2019 season.
• The Cougars are 17-13 in OVC Tournament games in eight appearances. This is the first time SIUE and Austin Peay have met in the postseason tournament.

Lexi King was named first team All-Ohio Valley Conference as utility player. She plays center field and pitches for the Cougars.

Bailley Concatto and outfielder
Lauryn Yslava were named to the All-OVC second team. Yslava also earned All-Newcomer team honors.
• King finished the regular season with a team-leading .382 batting average with 65 hits. That is the second-most hits by a Cougar in the Division I era. Haley Chambers-Book had 69 in 2015.
• Concatto hit her third home run of the season against SEMO, a grand slam on Senior Day.
• Yslava broke the SIUE freshman record for home runs with eight. She is second on the team with a .309 batting average.

Grace Lueke set an SIUE softball Division I-only record with 12 home runs this season. Lueke is tied for second all-time in home runs in a season with Sarah Sollberger (1998), Erin Newman (2000) and Jenny Esker (2002).

Mia Haynes leads the SIUE pitching staff with eight victories. She needs six more strikeouts for 100 this season.
