EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. – SIUE men's soccer forward Pavel Dashin (Krasnodar, Russia) has earned Prairie Farms Cougar of the Week honors after recording a pair of goals for SIUE.
Dashin's goal in the 37th minute on Thursday, Oct. 19 at Chicago State lifted the Cougars to a 1-0 advantage, his fourth goal of the season. On Saturday, he netted SIUE's fourth goal of the game against Southern Indiana, pushing the Cougars to the Ohio Valley Conference regular season title.
The graduate student is tied for the team lead with five goals this season.
SIUE finishes its regular season with a Thursday game at Lindenwood and a Sunday home contest with Eastern Illinois.
