LAST GAME: Senior Mikayla Kinnard led SIUE with a season-high 22 points and the Cougars used a 14-2 run in the final quarter to snap Eastern Illinois' 13 game winning streak on Saturday afternoon at First Community Arena. The Cougars took their first lead of the contest with 1:29 to go in the third quarter after a three ball by Sofie Lowis. Eastern Illinois took the final bucket of the quarter, heading into the fourth tied 55-55. SIUE began the fourth on a 10-4 run, grabbing a 65-61 lead with seven minutes to go. However, the Panthers regain momentum on a 9-0 run for a 70-65 lead with 4:22 remaining. The Cougars finished strong, using a 14-2 run to lead 79-72 with 29 seconds left.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Thatha was named the OVC Player of the Week on Feb. 14 following performances at Lindenwood and vs. Eastern Illinois. Her 25 rebounds at Lindenwood set the program record for most in a single game before adding 17 points in the win over EIU. She also received the honor on Jan. 31, Jan. 17, Jan. 1, and Nov. 29.

ALL TIME REBOUNDS: Thatha passed LeeAnn Bryan (1991-93) vs. Eastern Illinois for 19th on the Cougars' all-time leaderboard. She needs one rebound to pass Barb Straker for 18th. Thatha has collected 570 over her career at SIUE (189o-381d).

HAVE A GAME, MACY: Macy Silvey tied a career-high 14 points against Eastern Illinois, 12 of which came on the three pointers. She was 4-7 from deep, tying a career best in three pointers made. Her eight rebounds also set a personal best mark. Silvey also scored 12 at Lindenwood, all of which came off three pointers.

LOWIS IS LEADING: Lowis is second on SIUE and 14th in the OVC averaging 11.2 points per contest. She also leads the league and ranks 52nd in the country with 166 three-point attempts. Her four three pointers on Jan. 5 vs. Tennessee State tied a season high. Lowis ranks fifth in the OVC averaging 1.7 threes made and leads SIUE connecting on 41 from deep this season. She leads SIUE with 16 games in double figures.

DISH IT AND TAKE IT: KK Rodriguez ranks 10th in the OVC averaging 2.8 assists per game. The 5-6 transfer from Tulsa leads the Cougars with 61 this season. She also ranks in the conference averaging 1.8 steals per contest. She is averaging 8.5 points per game against conference opponents.
