OFF TO STRONG START
SIUE defeated Lindenwood 7-0 to open its Ohio Valley Conference season Friday. The Cougars won all five of their contested singles matches in straight sets.

Margaux Guibal Britt were named co-Doubles Players of the Week. The Cougar duo won twice last week in doubles matches and are now 8-2 in No. 2 doubles matches this season.
FIRST TO TEN
Jill Lambrechts and
Jordan Schifano recorded their 10th win in doubles Friday as SIUE secured the doubles point against Lindenwood. The duo are 10-3 overall at No. 1 doubles.
FLASHING THE DEPTH
Four different players have competed at No. 5 singles for the Cougars.
Caitlyn Sporing is 3-0 at No. 5 singles followed by
Fabiola Perez (1-0),
Jaiden McKee (4-1), and Melissa VIzcado (1-3).
SERIES MATCHUPS
SIUE is 8-1 all-time against Tennessee State. The Cougars won the last two meetings in the series 7-0 in 2019 and 2022.
YEAR FIVE
Adam Albertsen is in his fifth season as the head coach of the Cougars. SIUE has increased its win total in each of the previous four years. Last season, the Cougars completed play with a 16-5 dual meet record.
