EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. - SIUE wrestling ran its winning streak to five matches with a 47-0 triumph over Lindenwood at First Community Arena.
SIUE improved to 5-2 while Lindenwood dropped to 2-7.
Eight SIUE wrestlers stepped up for bonus points, including pins from

"I'm really happy with that," said Spates. "Our offense has been a lot better the last few weeks."
SIUE's dual match winning streak is at the longest since the Cougars moved to the Division I level. It also is the longest since the 1986-87 season when SIUE won six straight.

Johnson also moved up a weight class for his first action at 165.
"Jorden did a great job stepping into the lineup," added Spates.
