Women's Basketball Falls to Murray State

MURRAY, KY. – SIUE (0-1, 0-0 OVC) fell to Murray State (1-0, 0-0 MVC) Thursday night. The final score of the match was 104-60.
 
Brianna Wooldridge led the charge for the Cougars scoring in doubt digits (15) and Macy Silvey followed with 14.

Ava Gugliuzza had eight rebounds and nine points.
 
The Cougars scored 34 points in the paint, 26 points off the bench, and connected on 39 percent (23 of 58) of their shots from the field.
 
The Racers were led by Katelyn Young (23 points) and Ava Learn (21 points).

Up next, the Cougars take on Loyola November 16 at First Community Arena. Tip off is set for 1:00 p.m.
