EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. – Grad student
KK Rodriguez (St. Louis, Mo.) from the women's basketball team has received Prairie Farms Cougar of the Week Honors after her performance against SIU Carbondale.
Rodriguez made her return to play this season after missing 21 games in the 2023-24 season due to an injury. She has made an appearance in three games so far this season, including being one of the starting five against SIU Carbondale. Rodriguez opened the scoring for the Cougars with a jumper in the paint with 9:23 left to play in the First quarter. She put up a season high 12 points going 4-9 overall and 2-5 in the three-point range.
